Having an intense pre-occupation with food, weight and body image can significantly impact your quality of life

Are you constantly dieting, anxious about certain foods or skipping meals?

Does your weight fluctuate constantly?

Do you have rigid food and exercise rituals and strict food and exercise routines?

Do you feel guilt and shame about eating?

Are you so preoccupied with food, weight, and body image that it impacts your quality of life?

Do you have a loss of control around food, leading to compulsive eating?

Do you find yourself using exercise, food restriction, fasting or purging to "make up for eating bad foods or too much food?”

We all need to eat every day, but sometimes, we find it challenging to recognise when we're hungry or full or use food to cope with emotions. Social and cultural pressures about body image can also affect how we see ourselves when we look in the mirror and our thoughts about our weight and shape.

Do you ever feel stuck in a cycle of overeating, where thoughts of food consume your mind? Maybe you experience self-critical thoughts that lead to feelings of shame or guilt. If so, we're here to help. Intuitive eating is a journey that requires patience, persistence, and determination, but understanding your body's hunger and fullness signals and cultivating a healthy relationship with food, especially when life is stressful, is doable.

The journey can be lonely, but you are not alone. We can support you in learning mindful and intuitive eating practices, fostering self-compassion, and using behavioural techniques to break free from these struggles and cultivate a healthier relationship with food.

You don't have to face your eating disorder alone. Our therapists are here to empower you to regain control of your life and rediscover a sense of well-being and enjoyment of life.
